Does the Green filter for an 04 E500 - 1 or 2?

GLC 63 S AMG / Corvette C8 / Jaguar SVR
Does the Green filter for an 04 E500 - 1 or 2?

I was on a site and an 05 E500 needed 2 filters, yet for 2004 it said 1.

I have an 05 and needed two. 04's should be the same.

2! (I found out the hard way when I ordered my Green filters.. they didn't mention that I needed 2!!!

You guys both have an 05, from what i found is that 05s need 2. I would think the 04s need 2 also, but it said 1..


does anyone have an 04 e500 and know how many filters?

i am wondering which air filter is better: green air filter or the K&N air filter? by the way do they give any difference in the power of the car ? thanks for the responds

04 needs 2 also! open your hood.. you will have two fat plastic pipes going from around the radiator to each side of the cyclinder bank.. the filters are located there... they slip off the eithout tools.. remove the center plastic second.. then you can pull the whole assembly up and off.. then you can access the filters.

the word is that the green filters are better at removing super small particles that can screw up the air mass meter.. I have K&Ns in my bikes.. but decided to go Green for the car.. IMO .. they look very similar.
