So it looks like I was right. This guy goes on many forums spreading his Anti-K40 venom.

Here's an excerpt from a post on 6speedonline.

Does this quote look familiar? If you search this thread:

You will see almost cut and paste responses found on this thread and his 64 other responses on other threads here.

Here's the guy's response to one of his attacks on 6Speedonline. There are more like it there too.

What a tool, is there a site you don't visit stating K-40 sucks? seriously have you ever owned a K40 and use it? Do you know anything about their new Laser Diffuser?

You are just a cheerleader for the guys of Lidar, the radar detectors.com... and al the other sites that aren't allowed to sell k40 on line... oh yeah you forgot to mention that also... K40 isn't sold online by them so they have to bash it...

you also told me the Laser diffuser wouldn't work on a Range rover... Hate to correct you but it saved me several times in one week, I have at least 50 people that i know with K40 installed and talk nothing but praise about them, in fact 2 replaced a V! and one replaced the escort 9500 POS...

You know, you are probably a nice person and all that, but you shouldn't be a tool. the reason I like K40 so much, is because of misinformed people like yourself stating it doesn't work, then spreads gossip, or an Eopinion around the net.

here you go with a video on the older first generation stand alone laser diffuser, not the second, which interfaced with the calibre, or the third one which is the new slim line, but the first... with a real active duty cop, that does it for a living, in the real world, driving a real police unit (he drives Motorcycle also) and is a traffic officer that means he does this on the freeway where people drive...
As I said before, go away troll.

You are calling me a troll when I tell people where to get products that actually work as advertised. You are the troll because you like to talk great about the K40 that is a piece of garbage that dummies like you like to buy and do a real stealthy install and feel protected when you aren't.

Let's see who the troll is now:

I love the stealth install of my K40. I've got one LED on the left of the instrument cluster for front alerts and one LED on the right of the instrument cluster for rear alerts. Plus the front laser defuser is so hidden that you'd really have to be looking for it to find it. I've got the K40 K2000 which is not the latest and greatest. The only thing I don't like about it is lack of a mute button for city driving. They have addressed this with the newest Calibre model. I would say get the K40, you won't be disappointed.

Add the laser jammer and you're all set. None of the ones you mention have that feature. This a must, if you ask me. There is nothing better than going by a laser speed trap and the cop is banging the side of his gun!

I can honestly say, with no degree of uncertainty, that this is the best system I've ever owned. I've had the V1, Passport 8500 X50, and this. Granted the V1 was older but the K40 is so slick. Super stealth install, front and rear detection and front laser jammer. What more can you ask for? Oh, and the front jammer comes in a license plate bracket. I had my installer take it off of that and custom mount it. It's just about completely invisible unless you get on your hands and knees and look for it.

Just the other day, on I270N in Rockville, MD there was one of those "Your speed is" signs. You know, the ones that shoot radar at you and show your speed. Anyway this particular one was using laser for some reason. I could see it displaying speeds for every car in front of my as I went by. When it hit me, my alerts starting going nuts and it read "Your speed is 0"

Here's the deal. I know for a fact, that my K40 does in fact jam laser. Well, I guess I can't exactly guarantee it, because I wasn't behind the laser gun. But I have gone through at least 2 laser traps in which the police officer didn't get a reading on me. One time he was tapping his laser gun when I drove by, the other time he pointed his finger at me as I drove by.

As for your second question, I paid 400.00 for the install.

Oh, and you had a question about your radar not going off. This could be 2 things. 1. The cop was shooting laser, but not at you. Laser can only be detected by the vehicle getting tagged. Or 2, they were shooting "instant on" radar and didn't pull the trigger.

1. K40 will pay any speeding tickets you get for one year after installation.

2. The laser jammer needs to be mounted in a certain way for it to work effectively.

Agreed. This is ridiculous. Moderator notified.

For those that are bored, google Radarking and see how many forums come up where he posts the exact same thing over and over and over. And on every one of those forums there is someone like me calling him out.

You do the math.
