It's an oil change plus possibly getting new air filters installed. Oh, they will also check for leaks and try to find something else that maybe broken on your car so you have an opportunity to part with a substantial amount of money quickly.

I just had a C Service on my e500 with 57k on it at the time. The dealer charged me $600. Basically, they changed the oil, brake fluid and then the inspection the FSS system says it needs. Please read the third thread in this forum. It explains the inspection system and it was very helpful to me. Since my car is no longer in warranty, I found a local mercedes repair shop that does the inspections at a considerable discount over the dealership. I will use them on the next service. The dealership also said I needed front brake rotors and pads at that inspection. They charged me $600 more for that for a total of $1,200. Funny thing; I asked the dealership what I was getting for the $600. They told me they were doing things like changing the engine oil and checking the grease on the sunroof and changing brake fluid. When I told my wife what we got for the $600, she almost hit me
