- Mercedes-Benz E-Class: How to Replace Brake Line
Step by step instructions for do-it-yourself repairs
"Brake - Visit Workshop" message = stop light switch = $10 part / 10 minute Easy DIY
Hi, I have the same issue with both of my cars W211 and 219. I planning to visit Gargash tommorow. I am sure they'll refuse to start with. Would you remember anything specific about 10 year or extended warranty they mentioned.
I've a persistent dtc with dash warning as seen below. Stop lamp has been replaced with new module. drivers side fuse is intact.
Is there a well-known method to check the voltage of this module? If wobbly voltage is present, then what?
DTC has been erased yet immediately returns when stop/lamp switch is again depressed fully.

Wiring in trunk checked and fixed last year. It brought me to this forum, even.
There's an upthread comment I read today about new stoplight switches. They come not fully extended. Anyways I checked it out for extension and that did the trick. Sneaky Bilstein packagers. Thanks again for your input.
