Questions about Brabus kit for W211 owners
Hey guys, still debating whether to go with a Brabus on my GF's white W211 w/ sport package and pano. I have a few questions for those with the Brabus or anybody who is familiar with them. I have included two pictures that I found on the internet so you can refer to them for my questions. 1st, I already inquired about the brabus front lip for the vehicle based on seeing FreshBenz's icon and really liking his. What I can't figure out is whether or not the full brabus front bumper is a combo of both the front lip (add-on) and the fog lights (inserts?) or if brabus actually is offering a full front bumper here.... Look at the picture? It looks to me like if i bought the lip and added the fog lights I would have a whole brabus front, no? 2nd, I cannot tell the difference between the stock sideskirts and these brabus skirts. Am I missing something? Does anyone have these? I'd love to see a closer picture of the difference between the two. 3rd,it also appears (as I believe the front is) that the rear brabus bumper is also just added on and does not replace the stock one but fits over it. Is this true? 4th, If I were to do the front and rear with brabus, do you think I could get away (still looking good) without the brabus sideskirts? Thanks for your help guys I know that is a ton of questions but I really appreciate any input that can be provided. and yes, I searched!
Also, i will have these wheels on the car shortly if you can transplant them onto the white brabus car I've provided you can get an idea of how my GFs car should turn out when its finished. I'm definitely excited. Let me know what you think!!

I recently went to Brabus in Newport Beach, CA. I purchased the Brabus spoiler for my w211 from there. The rep, Anthony, I spoke with told me the front and rear lips are add on to the stock bumpers. He said they used to offer full front bumper replacement but that the price is very expensive. As far as the fog lights I am not sure how if they are just added on or if you need full replacement.
With the sideskirts the difference is that you can get the lights from Brabus that turn on under the car, I think they are called tear drop lights, you can see pics online somewhere. It is a cool feature to have if you are changing out the skirts, but if you don't want the lights then I don't think you need to swap em out.
The rear diffuser is also just an add-on to the rear factory bumper. It is nice, when you add the quad exhaust.

Thank you! Great info, I remember reading your thread about the brabus spoiler I guess you got it! Can I see a picture? I can't believe they want $700 for it but I may do it anyway haha. Thanks again!

wussup man! the front lip is an add on...the front quad fogs are also an add on. you can do this all while still using the stock bumper. the sideskirts are indeeed different and yes they do have BRABUS puddle lights which is 5 lights that illumiate from under the sideskirt when the car is unlocked or the door is open, i have it and i love it! if you did the front and rear, the car will definitely pass off as a full BRABUS W211 and look really good. once u see those puddle lights, however, you're gonna want them

Now I understand why they are so expensive. I couldn't believe they were more than the front and the rear. Would you take some pictures for me of these side skirts on at night? That'd be awesome. How close are you with the guys @ F1? Can you put in a word for me this stuff is expensive! Thanks man.

no problem lemme see. I got my wheels today, they look like they'll look great with the kit. Do you also have the rear or is it the stock sport rear?

Nice, it looks real clean. Whats a real set of pedals and pins cost from Brabus? I'm tracking two real ones right now for about $40 bucks. What'd you end up paying for the skirts? Did they come from F1 also? Hows the wiring, easy? This car is a lease so I don't want to go too crazy on that these cars already have enough electrical problems without extra wiring. Has it given you any trouble yet?

pedals are about $200-$250, pins are like $100 (those are estimates). my sideskirts are stock, all i did was buy the original BRABUS puddle lights and use my stock side skirts for the install. no problems at all, everything works fine.

oh no kidding?? You didn't even get the whole skirt just the lights. I'd be very interested to see what that is all about. Those prices seem about right for Brabus parts. Now here was something else I was thinking... In 2 years, will these authentic Brabus parts that I am purchasing still have any value? Do you think people will still be interested to buy a used authentic Brabus kit, or Brabus parts? That is somewhat how I am trying to justify spending all this $$ on their stuff. Don't forget this is my GFs car but I drive it a ton.

yup just the lights for close to a thousand i think, i dont remember again lol. the value part, i'm not sure about that but i am pretty sure you wouldn't have a problem getting rid of the stuff on the forums, just not at the price you may want but who knows
