Advice for friend... New Pricing on E350's

Hi guys,

I have a C63 and hang out over there...

I have a friend considering replacing his 1999 E420 with a 2008 E350. I assume that the dealers are making good deals to get the 08's out since the 09's are coming in, but does anyone have a feel for what dealers are doing on the cars either in relation to invoice or how much under MSRP?

Thanks in advance,

In Southern California, you can currently get from $10,000 to $12,000 off the msrp of a new 2008 E-class. Maybe even more...

Look it up on www.carsdirect.com

** BTW James, I'm Seaside63 on the CF !

2008 E 350 for a Friend

Wblynch - Are you saying "Southern Cal" in general OR is there a dealership or two you have in mind that are trying to rid themselves of their 08's by selling below invoice?

thanks.

Well, I don't know about the other dealers but Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel will usually honor or beat the Cars Direct quotes.

Or you can go through Cars Direct and let them manage the process.

I just bought a w204 C class a few weeks ago and I was in and out of there, all done, in less than 3 hours (including a test drive). They looked up the Cars Direct price while I sat in their office. They accepted their own $1,000 promo coupon as well.

I debated getting a W211 but decided to wait for the new body.

By the way, I looked up a 2008 E350 for zip code 97205, Portland, OR and it also quoted about $10,000 off. So you don't have to come all the way to California.
