Brighter fog lights?

Hi guys,

are there any brighter fog lights which are legal to purchase? Something like Xenon lights (not moving like the HID head lights)?

I know those type of lights are not legal in Germany but maybe there is something to get here?

This is a bad idea, putting brighter fog lights will actually make them less effective in fog and will blind other drivers.

+1

The yellow fog lights in my 300D are much better than newer "fog lights" on modern cars.

The closer they are to the yellow color spectrum the better they will work in fog.

Agreed,

that's why in Belgium all lights are yellow!

Yes, I agree. My 94 S420 had the yellow fog lights. I miss those sooooo much, they were amazing (I get a lot of fog at night where live). Why'd Mercedes put white ones now? They don't work for sh*t and they aren't bright at all. Was thinking about getting 3000K (yellow) HID kit for the fog lights.

Well, I guess b/c not everyone lives in a fog cluttered area that's why they didn't!
