The best quality MB ones are the White Star Flat Badges from DFWDude. He used to have a sticky on the forum with pics, etc.. They are enamel and metal. But he had to stop making them because MB doesn't have any of the parts in inventory any more.
I have two of them. One is used and one is new. I just sold the used one to a member here. I'll sell the new one for $120 which is what it cost me. You can't get these anymore. They mount just like the OEM upright star.
