2004 bluetooth options?

Hi all,
What would be my options, if any, to install a working-MFD, steering controlled bluetooth in my 2004? I have looked in my arm rest but there doesn't seem to be the "holder", so is the puck/tail out for me?
The kufatec one seems a bit expensive??!

If you are from Bombay, you should not have low-cost Tele-Aid, unless the car was imported from the US.

I'm afraid you would have to retrofit the OEM kit or have one of the specific after market kits (that cost about the same), Parrot does not give you the cluster menus, not to mention cheaper after market options.

Db, tell me something..there seems to be a lot of ambiguity, for me, at least where this whole Bluetooth, puck and tail, OEM, etc is concerned..
What exactly is the puck/tail? What is OEM?
The cars are all manufactured here under license from Daimler Benz AG, so I am assuming European spec?

If you go and look at the US options from AWS (http://www.wireless4mb.com/) you can find the different options for the US market. The "puck with tail" is an OEM part, I guess more officially called "V60 cradle replacer).

I don't think I've seen the VIN from a car from India (would you be willing to post or PM yours?), don't even know if they appear on EPC and elsewhere but since the neighbouring countries use Euro equipment, I would have expected the same for India.

2004 e320
hey AP.... I had the same problem with my 04 E320 and was about to pay the dealer $2500 for the OEM installation and then I found the Itronic+Ipod. The phone works perfectly, the clarity is great. I am always on the phone and no one has ever complained. Plus I was able to get my IPOD to work. All my steering buttons work as well as everything on the command.
