Actually, they're HEMs or Hiflow Exhaust Manifolds. Vadim and VRP Tuning has just lightened my wallet and is crafting a set of these for me as I type this.
Stated gains for M113 N/A engine is 15-20hp, at the crank, if my car was stock. My car is not stock.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Wish me luck as this is going to be a DIY install.

PM Vadim, he seems to be a very good guy and easy to work with. And he's one of the most respected tuners in the industry, from what I can tell.

RE: Headers
I'd say you've got a serious case of the mod bug; I've personally encountered cycles of same with various rides from time to time, it is addicting and always fun.
For what it's worth, I think adding these headers would complement an E55 airbox quite nicely.
Have fun and keep us posted.

Unfortunately, their printer wasn't working at the time so they couldn't give us our numbers on paper but if I recall, I was putting down 269hp and about 300tq at the wheels which when you account for drivetrain loss you get 269/.82 = 328bhp and 299/.82 = 364tq. Sounds about right, for my mods. I've been bugging the shop to get me the numbers but they're flaking out. At least I have something to go on.
I'll definitely do pre/post dyno for this mod.

I did dyno the car a couple of weeks ago at a dyno day. It was sponsored by another sponsor from another board.

ALWAYS bring a memory stick to the dyno. Get it on electronic file.

I had them custom build. As far as I can remember, nobody offered them. The true potential came after I did the ecu software. I did dyno it back then and the hp numbers are right there. After doing my calculation for loses, it turned out to be 18hp at the crank. I can't find the paperwork(dyno sheets and calculations), have been looking for it for the last two hours. I will look for it again, and if I find will pm you. Good advise from phatmitzu. I will dyno it again in couple of months. When did you get the e55 air filter housing? Did you see any improvement worth getting it?

I have the AMG airbox in hand, just not installed yet. There have only been a few people that have done this mod, but have claimed a SOTP increase. I figure it couldn't hurt, so I'm gonna give it a shot. VRP now offers a slick looking "fang" intake, so I might give that a shot.
Will have the headers in a couple of weeks, then pre/post dynos. But then I'm going to Trinidad & Tobago for 2 weeks so I won't have anything to report until mid-march, if I had to take a guess.
Stay tuned...

Yeah, I was wondering because VRP didn't even start making these until last Summer. I was trying to catch you in a fib. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Since I don't expect much from the airbox, I'll probably pop that on and dyno. Then dyno again after the headers. No need to do a separate dyno just for the airbox. But if I decide to go with a under-drive pulley setup, then I'll have to dyno it again.

Just PM'd Victor about pricing... wonder if we should've done a GB? Yes, will do seperate runs stock and w/headers.

Pricing will be good, trust me. You're getting the "Clayton is the mack daddy" discount.
