Need your all's help!!!!
Are you sure you need new rotors?are they still smooth and above spec minimum.
Have a good trip. And congrats on the other item
I would measure the pad thickness and compare to specs. If you are above the spec limit I would drive to NM and replace them on return. If your sensor (+ in the FSS) has only been on a few thousand miles I would guess you have at least 10,000 miles of safe driving. So before putting pads that aren't what you want I would confirm the actual wear to specs. One other Item I would also mic the rotor and compare it to spec. I planned on replacing the rotors on my E500 which is driven very sprited at 65,000 miles. I measured them and compared to spec and found they had only worn 40% of the total wear spec at 65,000 miles. If the rotors aren't warpped and within spec and you have at least 50% wear remaining I would not replace them. I would recommend don't rush into doing something without measuring and getting the data.
