Anyone in New Jersey want to run a stock m5 on video?
Guys I'm getting tired of all the crap being talked about on mbworld and on the m5board without 100% evidence. I know I raced a e55 and I pulled on him, maybe he as not an experienced driver. I want someone with a stock e55 in New Jersey/NY who is willing to run on camera vs my bone stock m5. Settle the race battle ones and for all
. Preferably someone who is well respected on the mbworld board. We can go from a stop, then also try from a roll. This maybe the only way to recieve unbaised information.

The CL is my daily driver. I drive it most often. It is definatly a spoiler as neither the E or C come close as far as speed/acceleration factor is concerned. There is really no comparing the CL to the other two, wins hands down. I really enjoy the 7spd in the C class vs the 5spd in the E. It is unfortunate that my 08 E didn't recieve the 7spd and the 08 C did. I had the paddle shifting string-coded to work in the E class so I would have appreciated the 7spd. I feel the 7spd allows for better low end acceleration and enjoy the responsiveness of that trans. The 350 motor by comparison to the 300 feels slower, although it would be interesting to put the two side by side

Ha, thats quite a question. Well....

I like the handling of the C class as it is easy to throw around and body roll is minimal on 19"s. The E still has body roll in the corners on 19"s and 20"s. After I lower the E class on the prototype springs I had made I think that will change. Out of all 3, the CL to me is the most comfortable. I love my CL seats, the leather and so forth. Both the E and the C are MB-Tex interiors and I wish they had bigger side bolsters. I want to say that overall, I enjoy the C more than the E although I drive the C less. I drive the E class more because it is my central project and I just enjoy driving around something that everyone has (atleast in my area the E350 is like a camry) but doesn't look or sound like anyone elses. Thats just me though, haha. I prefer the traditional command setup over the new I-drive that the C class has. However, I like the operating system (layout/screenshots) of the C class better than the E.

Yeah, I assumed the CL would put both to shame, as it hauls a ton more and has luxury nary a car can match.
