very stiff sunvisor

okay I did some search and nothing came up about the stiff sunvisor. Has anyone of you have issues with the super stiff sunvisor? This is one of the most annoying thing in my car right now. Its too hard to flip it over. And the right side doesnt even go up all day way. What's up with these visors? Do I need to replace them?

Yes, I just had the same issue with my MY06 E500. Dealer replaced under warranty.

I would suggest replacement left is part 2118100310 + VIN specific color extension code (parts.com $139.15), right 2118100410 (159.85). Check PM.

WOW.... I TOTALLY thought it was just my car..... Have been wanting to ask about this on mbworld, but was afraid to be laughed at =/

Anyways, my sunvisors are stone in color, and they are damn near impossible to flip down/up, and as stated before, mine too does not go up all the way.. It kinda tilts at like a 45 degree angle downwards, both of them.

Konigstiger, if I were to purchase new sunvisors from parts.com with part # 2118100310 and 2118100410, will these too eventually get stiff also?

If it lasts longer than four hours you may want to consult a physician.

I have the exact problem with BOTH of my visors. I tried the wd40 method. Does not work..Car was out of warranty...

I replaced both....on my dime..
