Does anyone know if the B67875855 puck and tail will work with the Google G1 cell phone?

We have a 2004 E320 wagon and never had a phone installed - when we got the car we had a Treo & it was not supported.

I have been primary driver & did not need bluetooth as I have short commute & try not to use cell much while driving.

However, our other car (2008 Infinit M35) was totaled in accident recently (all ok - young girl ran a red light) & we just bought a 2010 GLK350.

I am going to get the new car & my husband, who is a realtor, is getting the 2004 & could really use bluetooth.

The car has Navigation so will this work in this vehicle. He currently has a Blackberry Bold.

Do we buy this part online & then have MB install or do we buy from them?

Thanks.

The attached web page will answer 90% of your questions. Just look for your year and model. You should be able to use the puck with tail connector, then have the car version coded, telling the computer a phone is installed, and you should be good to go. Last price I heard for the puck with tail module was about $300.00.

Unfortunately none of our current phones &/or provider with work with it. Will need to find a good bluetooth car kit that is not device specific. Thanks.

Since that list was published of compatible phones a great number of new phones has been added to it. It was my impression, when I had my bluetooth installed at my MB dealer, that all phones with bluetooth capability should work just fine. I currently use a Nokia 6501-I phone that is not on the list and it is perfectly compatible.
Good Luck!

let's make this clear for everyone who aren't familiar...
bluetooth is bluetooth...
regardless of which bluetooth phone u have, u should be able to pair the phone...
it's the other features such as callerID and phonebook upload that may or may not support...

OK since my car is for service I just called my advisor & told her to have the V60 cradle replacer installed - we'll give it a shot. I guess hands-free BT through the system is better even if all features don't work IS better than visor mounted device as we plan to keep this puppy awhile. Thanks.

If I don't have it, I'll end up having the dealer put the MHI kit in and get the BT integration kit. I know there are other companies out there that integrate into our cars, but Im not big into splicing up a benz

NJ...its not too bad from what I was told. Around 400 for the MHI plus install and another 500 for the BT piece.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to pull the floor up in the center armrest. I pulled the cup holders out and there is no screws, tabs, or anything of that sort on the floor. All I have is a forward compartment and a rear compartment. There's the two buttons in between the two compartments. Anyone have a picture of what I'm supposed to be pulling on or how to take it out? All the pictures I've seen on here doesn't look like what I have.
