Can you confirm if I have the same spark plugs as an E500 would ? I was about to buy the ones you guys bought on autohausaz, but not sure if E350 would be the same as E500's

The 2006 E350 appears to have a different plug. What I found was YR7MPP33 but you should check your owners manual to confirm. It will be in the owners manual.

Work slow, don't rush and you will do ok.
Twist the plug cap before you try to pull it off and it will be easier to remove.
A 17mm open end wrench to pry off the cap.
When you first break the plug loose don't try to pull it all out at one time. Break it loose then tighten is only slightly, then loosen and repeat each time comming a little more out. This breaks the tiny carbon chips in the threads and will prevent damage to the threads in the head.
I used plug neverseize but only a VERY tiny amount to ease installation and I also used dielectric grease on the plug cap.
Installation of the cap takes pressure to get it to "snap" on. If you press it as on a normal plug it may not fully seat. Be sure you fully seat the plug.
The plugs are pre gapped. You can check them but don't try to set them. If the setting is off replace the plug.
Best of luck.

!... For some of mine I had to use two hands and press in confined space with all I had to get it back on. Even then I wasn't sure they were fully seated. But after 10,000 miles of driving all is well.

I am gonna change my plugs soon (73K) but I am affraid about wires? I found just one info that if you don't have misfire, then you don't need to change them? is it true?
After I changed plugs in my last car - 99 Jetta - my car wasn't running smooth, and I had to change all wires and my mechanic told me that everytime you change plus, you need new wires...
how it is with E320?

Quick question regarding lifting up the car on jack stands. Do you have to lift it to change all 16 plugs? Or did you lift it to look for the dropped tool? Could you please explain? I lost a torq tool about 1" long. For this I had to jack it, pull the lower pan and look with mirror and lights. I never found it and it has been a non issue so hopefully it is resting in some non critical area. It might have even vibrated out after the 10,000 or so miles of driving.
My reco,, don't drop anything under the hood.
