i bought a "CL style" grill from ebay, installed it and after a few weeks it cracked and i took it off. also i really didnt like the look of it anyway. does anyone have any advise wha grill i can put on it? maybe a billet or mesh with a frame. either crome or blacked out, wit a MB star?...and advice or places to purchuse would be appreciated...

Try AllMercedes.com site.........they have the OEMs plus others. I bought a chrome with black cross slots for my vehicle there for about $130. I may want to eventually go chrome mesh but I haven't found a good Website yet for that..........there are sites that sell the mesh and then you cut it to fit but need a frame. Or maybe I'll just retain my grill and eventually use the wire mess for the three lower bumper grills (those are available at some Websites) but right now I've removed the black plastic ones and am repainting them......I've got a posting on this topic with a photo of these grills with the brackets showing.

I can highly recommend a seller named JAKUO on eBay.

Have bought several different-style sport grilles from him in the past (for both W210 and W211), and the quality has always been EXCELLENT.

The one I currently have (pic below) is over 6 months old and still looks brand new.

Sometimes LESS is MORE! Maybe All black and Please remove the chrome trimmings around the vehicle PLEASE! Keep it simple with subtle changes and it will look great the car doesnt need much to look Hot.

Especially on nice cars like these, the more you fuss 'em up the cheaper and worse they look IMO.

i didn't notice that chrome trim...OMG DUDE!!! that looks SO BAD. Are you serious? sorry to be so blunt but that is something you put on a 87 corolla not a new E class.
