Well This Is My 1st Benz(Comin From A Turbo Civic) and i just want to share some pics of my car and what i did to it so far.....FEEL FREE 2 SAY WHAT U THINK WILL MAKE IT BETTER OR FASTER.....THANKS!!!!

STOCK!!


With in a WEEK the mods Began!!!
*Swaped The Stock Hid Bulbs For 8k Bulbs & Added 8k Hids To The Fogs


Next I Lowered The Car(Thanx Adjustable Air Ride) & added a Knockoff Spoiler


Next I Went The TINTED Route: 35% All Around & 50% On The Windsheild


Next I Got A Set Of Sevas Then Sold Em(Which I Love The Way They Look On & Off The Car...But They Were The Wrong Offsets For My Car(CL500 Offsets)..Talk About RUBBING!!)& Added A Roof Spoiler(Which Ended Up Missing...Thanx BROOKLYN) & Added 07 Tail Lights




TOOK A BREAK!!! All These Mods Was In A Month n A 1/2........

As Of Right Now I Took Off The Tints(Got 3 Tickets and Didn't Want a 4th One) Roof Spoiler Walked Out On Me....Got Wheels From A Member On Here...Got A Custom Plate...."NVMY6S"= Envy My Success & Painted The Grill Black & The Lil Grill On The Hood

With E500 you just HAVE to get an aftermarket exhaust and let it show perhaps an AMG rear bumper? :-)

I am cheap, I just have a $55 + shipping aftermarket add on.
So far, no one notice it was add on. LOL
Of course, the one I got is truely high quality in fit and finish or I wouldn't have it on my car. ( it is the ONLY mod I have that pass my qualification )

new york you are allowed 30% in the front (this includes windshield it's on the dmv's website... BkE5Kid, i woulda fought all the tickets... unless they gave you a ticket in exchange like something stupid such as something hanging from your rear view mirror, even an air freshener... which they do many times and tried it on me too) the back you can have presidential for all they care... as for new jersey we are not allowed to have any at all but... everyone does it here anyway haha a doctor's note helps a lot then the legal amount is 30 in new jersey too... with that handy note lol

Putting that on a car that sells for 12-25k used?

I guess I just don't get that sort of bling thing. Maybe it's just where you live, but around here people don't need to advertise......

btw, the blue lamps look Rice. Why not put in 4300-5000k lamps which are more like OEM? Looks too aftermarket with blue lamps.

Your right its not about the "car" its about me....I'm 24 with a benz no help from ANYONE...I hav own place n etc....workin towards a place where u rich folks that dnt need to advertise live.....its all about being different I like the way 8k looks that's y its there....coming from a civic the term "ricer" is thrown around a lot and I learned not 2 take others "opinion" 2 heart

coming from *brooklyn* and young and getting that car on your own is HARD so give him some credits b.c. just b.c. its nyc doesn't mean you see amg's driving down our streets and CL's and S's... yes ny is full of them but not all the areas so i give the kid credit because he deserves to put whatever he wants on his car especially when he bought it on his own no need to call his car ricy especially when i believe it is not b.c. many members have HID's here with the average ranges of 6-8000K uncluding me with 6000 in addition hes added many things to his car that he worked for as well so give him a bit credit sorry if you think that license plate should be on a CL600 or an SL63 (think before you judge anyone b.c. you never know where they are coming from)

1) He and I made it right from the start.
2) You don't understand the post (that plate doesn't need to be on any car, imho. Self-confidence comes from within and not from what's on the outside) btw, my AMG is totally debadged....fwiw.
3) Don't be hypocritical. Having strong opinions is an important personal attribute. And our opinions always change over time, trust me on that.

...and the OP spent quite a bit of money to turn his E into a Civic

Replacing the stock HIDs with 8k bulbs just degraded his lighting and increased the amount of glare that both he, and other drivers, are exposed to. By dropping the car as much as he did he degraded his handling and set himself up for suspension issues -

Do a search you'll see all kinds of responses. Lots of dissing. Bottom line over there: higher the K, the less actual light output. Maybe we just drive faster (j/k)
