I just bought a 2007 E350 with the Sport Package and want to start modding it right away, but I'm confused about AMG vs. Sport Package. For instance, I am looking at front spoiler lips and many are labeled as fitting the "AMG style bumper", while some are labeled as "AMG/Sport". Are the AMG and Sport bumpers the same? Is there a 2007 AMG E350?Or is it called something else?

Also, let me hear your customizing ideas for my car.

So far I'm thinking: lowering springs, light to medium tint, smoked corners, carbon fiber spoilers all around (front lip, trunk and roof), black grille with the large star, flat hood emblem, 19" wheels in black with polished lips.

Nope. AMG and Sport bumpers are slightly different. Take a look at a MY09 (free AMG pkg) and you'll see.

For modding please read the forum. Lots of ideas have been presented.

Nice choice, I picked mine up about 3 weeks ago. Already did the clear side markers and am looking for other ideas as well.

Welcome to the forum.

There is a slight difference between the two. The W211 has always had 3 front bumpers: luxury, appearance sport (what you have), and AMG sport (the only 07s that came with this were the key to the cure editions). However, I did find once an 07 E350 (the last 07 E left) at Calabasas Mercedes with AMG sport package but it wasn't key to the cure. Till this day it is mind boggling to me how they got a hold of that car.

i hate the horizontal chrome strips the run through the foglights. im thinking of blacking them out.

I am so glad I have the AMG package on my 2009 E350. The original sport package gave me pause and the USD 2,000 upcharge for AMG in 2008 stopped me completely.

I want to collect a bunch of parts and spend a weekend on it. So, first I have to find a carbon fiber front lip and a roof wing with no antenna hole. They seem to not be available for the 2007 Sport model.

How can i tell from the outside look between sport package and sport package P1 of 2007 E350. Is there a basic or standard of e350?
