Take the muffler off, and you can sound like every Harley bad-boy wannabe, annoying everyone within a mile of you.
Or, sell the Benz and get a '91 Subaru Wagon that needs exhaust work and you'll sound super cool, and have a bunch of money left over to buy the Harley, then you'll be super loud (and therefore super cool).

diesels rarely sound good, and I've yet to hear a v6 with modified exhaust that didn't sound like crap.
Best bet may be to open up the airbox to get some intake growl, but I'd leave the exhaust alone.

Ya, the 350's sound nice with a resonator delete since it is a bigger 6 and has a deeper tone due to other things such as intake. Idk about the diesel 6. I've wondered about doing this on my 320 as well, but again idk since it is smaller than the 350. Maybe an H pipe instead of an X pipe to give it a deeper tone. You don't want to do just straight pipe either for the 6 cylinder.

OP: resonator deletes are cheap. Try it. If you don't like, it you can put your resonator back in. Or try a resonator delete with X or H-pipe as gaazmon suggested. My res delete cost $60

just go ahead and slip off those kitty cats and slide that dpf to the side jack! or just dump it right out of the hood open headers and just unplug your egr. dont take it our or remap it or anything. just unplug it and run it WOT 2 THE MAXXX for about an hour long then you must immediatly shut off engine. the oil in your turbo will thicken to a goo making it sound so deep and throaty....and knocky about 5 minuets later.

I didn't realize that me commenting would bump this thread to the top. I also didn't think anyone was going to see my comment on a 9 year old thread. sorry guys wont happen again. new to the forum realm.
