Ok, so your choices are:
1. $500.00 and drive your car now
2. $200.00 and maybe drive it in a month
3. $1000.00 at your dealer and drive it now.
If you have a backup car, wait the month. If not, spend the $500.00 and away you go.
The W211 is a car that will be expensive to maintain, as you're learning. $500.00 seems like a great deal to me.
But, I'm gonna throw you a bone. Call Pat at Potomac German Auto in Frederick Maryland. See what he can do for you. Tell him Clayton with the tricked out E500 sent you.

Yes, $500 its a pretty darn good price, especially with a lifetime warranty. I paid $900 about a year ago, but was lucky to save some dough on the installation through an indie.
