studder step

studder step
I find in bumper to bumper traffic, stop and go sometimes the car studders a very slow speed. I think this is the electronic brakes. Any one have experineced this and do you know how to eliminate this?

I think I know what you mean. I thought it was the transmission or the car "learning" that you now want instant response instead of smooth and steady. I notice it when I push hard on the gas after driving more slowly for a while. It also doesn't always shift into second at the proper time even after it is warmed up in these cases. It is only ocassionaly though

I have also noticed this as well. It mostly seems to happen in stop and go traffic and also when coming to a stop. Can this be corrected? It feels a bit "shakey" and is not what I would expect in a car of this caliber.

i dont know of a fix, but i also have had this, it moves back and forth, kind of scary....i havent seen it on the nav car, but on the pre nav i had it. i would take it to the dealer......does it kind of feel as if the driver is braking then gassing the car real quickly which makes little jerks?

This TSB might address your problem, terms: "lack of power" and specifically "hesitation caused by two-footed driver". Download and present to your service dept.
