Anyone have Manheim prices for 2009 E550??

Looking to sell my 2009 E550 with 14,000 miles. Trying to find what its worth. The car has P2, panaramic, ventilated seats, electronic trunk closer, bi xenon, and I prepaid 3 years of sirius. It is white with black interior. Any suggestions on an ebay price? How about what my dealer will give me on trade in? Anyone here interested? Thanks

I would suggest starting at the dealership you got it at as they will be your best price unless selling privately.

I would say high 30's for a trade in. You can check Galves or NADA for a realistic idea of what you can expect from a dealer

i hope your wrong. A 70k car worth high 30s after less than a year and 15k? That is crazy.

2009 e550's were selling for over 20k off mrsp a few months back. I would say high 30's low 40's.

Manheim price is around $43K. These cars depreciate very fast. Plus the 2010 is already out and it drives the price down on older models by about $5K.

I remember E550 with P1 was about $42 last summer with the USAA fleet discount.

Assumuing yours is not 4M, a 4K mi. car in Riverside on 2/12 did $50,750, a 6K mi. car in Riverside on 2/19 did $54,250. Prices are going up from last 2 months big time.

I'd like to know where you got a new '09 E550 under $50K when dealer cost is about $56K plus options.

MSRP 69000
-12k trunk money
-5k fleet
-3k dealer discount
=49k

Some people on this board got as good 20k off without the fleet discount. I bought mine local thought and this was as good as i could do.

fwiw, I got a new 2009 E63 for the price of a MSRP E550. Last summer and fall they were going for 30k+ off.

Don't expect much $$ selling a slightly used 2009 MB. It's not so much the new model intro but the fact that MBs depreciate faster than a sinking rock. Anybody who pays close to MSRP gets screwed. Unfortunately people are now paying close to MSRP for the W212. Same thing will happen to them. MBs only make sense if you buy a CPO or can get a huge discount when car sales are low and incentives are high.

any updates on 09 e550's at auction. ive looked at kbb, nada, etc at trade in values but i believe their prices are not realistic (too high). i bought the same car as the OP (e550 with p2, pano) brand new a year ago for $48k.

The only car holding a reasonable resale value is a Porsche 911.

That's a very solid price. Did you have a trade-in or anything else involved in this deal?

no trades, straight sale. at the time, the dealer was offering $21k off any of their inventory OR any they could trade for. I found a car in another state and let them obtain it for me at that discount (plus a minimal fee to ship it to my door). i wasnt the only one on this board to get this deal. they must have been pressed to make sales unit number or something.
