Brake question...Will w208 clk55 brakes fit on an 03 E500?

Brake question...Will w208 clk55 brakes fit on an 03 E500?
Just like the title says, I have a 2001 CLK55 and was thinking about swapping over some of the good stuff from it to my newly aquired E500. Does anyone know if the AMG calipers from the clk will fit the E500? Reason why I ask is because I just bought brand new rotors and pads for the CLK and will not be driving it nearly as much as the E500, and the E500 is calling for some brakes.

Also I was wondering, wouldn't stainless steel brake lines give better response and feel as opposed to the OE lines? I ask this because I have ridden motorcycles for a better half of my life and that's one of the first things I do when I get a new bike. Changing the factory brake lines with steel lines and it's an instant improvement.
Anyone have thoughts on this?
