2009 E350 FSS reset
I had the dealer do an oil and filter change, which including checking and topping off all fluid levels + tire pressures. Very fairly, they stated up front that they don't reset the FSS.
I don't find any instructions in my manuals for resetting the FSS, except that "shops other than M-B will find the instructions in the materials for this car", or some such.
I tried the following procedure several times, but no joy:
- Turn ignition key to position 2
- Press reset button twice within 4 seconds
- Turn ignition back to pos 1
- Press and hold the reset button
- Turn ignition to pos 2
- Keep pressing in the reset button (the button to the left of the odometer) until a buzzer sounds and a new miles display appears
Procedure in the owners manual then try

Thanks, ohlord!
do them all and record them in your service book as performed an MB can't negate your warranty if you performed the work required.
