new wheels - pics - need suggestons

This was the way my car used to look:

Those rims got bent up bad from being on the East coast so I had to get new rims (below) The same were not available so I went with the gun metal version. I like it but I feel like it's not as complete looking as the silver version...and maybe not as classy. Something is just not right. I am thinking tint definitely and clear side markers will be a really good start to bring it together...and MAYBE a light tint on the tail lights, although I am not a big fan of this. Thoughts?

I will agree on clear marker light, tint the windows go dark on rear glass and do 30% on sides and def tint the tail lights but just the red and leave white the way it is. Put a lip on your trunk, throw away that ugly grill and get a nicer one with a big emblen in the center and before you put it on the car paint it same collor as the car. Also the mesh in pront bottom, paint it silver as well. Your car will look great and it will cost almost nothing. You can always sell your old grill.Good luck and show us some pics when u done!

thanks for the suggestions, although i'd sooner kill myself than sport the CL style grill. Also, I don't like uneven tint, gotta be the same all around. I am thinking 35 all around to get as close as possible to the rim color

Smoke the lights. Tail lights and bumper markers. Throw light tint on. And you'll be good to go. I think the gunmetal versions look better. And please don't do the cl style grill. That is soooo gay.

swap the bumper markers for clear and get black center caps. the silver ones don't like right and I think that's what's throwing it off.

i actually love the silver caps, keeps a uniform star look throughout the car...and brings some silver down to the wheels...besides they don't have dark ones haha...the rims are not black anyway they are grey

can someone recommend the right clear corners?

Are these ok? http://www.mercedesbenzwheel.com/mer...ights-153.html

I don't want an aftermarket look...

yea i kinda like the silver better too...oh well...i needed new tires and rims and silver was not available right now anywhere. I'll stick these out until summer and then switch to silver again. That's the joy of replicas, only about 600 for the set. If i keep these in perfect condition I can sell them for 500 easy.

Wow that's dirt cheap. what are the specs on the rims? those 18s? Good pick up nonetheless!

they are 19s, staggered 8.5, 9.5

It's the second set I had of these and they are identical to the real AMGs that you have, i've compared them directly.

I think the gunmetal looks better. yes on the clear side markers and tint but living in so cal get 15% all around, thats what I have and at times wish I went 5%. no on the tail tint, and remove that trim between the fogs and take that front plate off it's killin it
