W211 front strut tower brace

I have searched these forums and googled for a few hours and I can't find anyone who has a front strut tower brace or the w211

Is that true?

fwiw, you won't notice any difference on these cars with or without one.

Thanks, I guess if they really helped, people would make and buy them. Or this is a huge opportunity for me to make one I put a strut brace on my slk55 and it made a huge difference.

The only time I can see needing one is in an emergency lane switch. I am very impressed by the suspension on these cars, it handles curves u-turns and corners very well. Only limited by tires.

The chassis

is stiff enough. That's why you don't need or would not notice it if you did.

Two issues here. Do we need one on the W211? Probably not. Will we feel a difference on the car with one? Probably.

These cars don't have the right suspension to notice a difference because the limitations of a stock suspension will present themselves long before you'll need a brace to keep the towers from spreading apart. You will not notice the camber change (maybe in your head.)

On a C63 or CLK Black suspension, it's more noticeable. On a W211 E Class, no. There's no way you can get the chassis of a stock E Class driven to the point where it's truly needed; you'd be off the road first....

Read SMerc Engineering's post about what I said over a year ago: https://mbworld.org/forums/3743922-post8.html
