No Wiper Fluid Coming Out

Just bought 2007 E63 and had some snow this past week and the salt and grime was all over the windshield and tried to spray the wiper fluid and nothing comes out. A little mist sprayed out but that was about it and now nothing else comes out. I saw a few bubble spouts come out and nothing. Tried 4-5 times for about 10 seconds at a time as I searched and saw someone said that the lines are really long and if they haven't been used in a long time they may take a few pushes to start spraying.

Anyways, checked the reservoir and it is pretty full of fluid... it has been cold but these have a heater built into them right? I mean its 45 degrees right now so def shouldn't be frozen. Any tips on what I can do?

You might want to try and disconnect them at the nozzles and use a can of compressed air to insure that nothing is clogging the tips.If that isn't what you want to do , try using a needle or pin to unblock the nozzles.

yeah i thought they were frozen too, but i mean the engine compartment has to be putting out heat to un-freeze... and it has been up to 45 for a day or so as well that i thought would unfreeze them. But now I can't get anything to come out of them, i hear the motor running to spray but nothing is coming out and the reservoir is still full..

I will try the hairdryer route next

yea i thought the same exact thing, the engine should be hot enough to melt the ice but it wasnt. i say give it a shot, before u unplug or break anything. it costs u nothing and could save u hundreds.

Aren't the nozzles supposed to be heated?

Your saying the pin trick? The hole seems to be pretty small so can't fit a pen in... a pin I could try as well.

Get a safety pin. Then bend it back. It fits the nozzle holes perfectly...

^Yes, Pin. Be careful not to adjust the nozzle while cleaning unless they need adjusting as well.
