Yes. That grill fits all "facelift" W211 Es from 2007 to 2009. Install is very straight forward. I bought it from formymercedes.com about 2.5 years ago. Its my car pictured at his website, so I posted same pictures here as well. I think I was among the very first to get this specific grill in the US at the time. Now you can probably get same on eBay for less. But here's the link anyway: http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...tegory=Grilles
thanks!

2. The grill itself is nowhere as sturdy as stock grill. Having said that, as long as you do not jerk or yank at it too much when opening your hood, it should lust for a while. One other important consideration. Gerry takes care of his customers after the sale. I'll give you an example. I had a different grill on my former '03 E500 (btw, current owner still has it on and no issues - its being on the car for about 6 years now), so when one of the chrome stips started peelling, not only he replaced that chrome piece (that was almost 5 years after the sale) he sent me chrome pieces for the whole grill just in case (I'm not saying he'll do it for everyone, but he'll try to help for sure).

That is a surprise about the hood emblem... imagine that I'll have to get it from the dealer. It's probably better quality & will last longer too!
I hope the grill won't be torn off or damaged, when going through a car wash. How "less sturdy" is it? I'd hope with reasonable care, it would last.

Read my post - it will last for years with some care when opening hood. Its sturdy enough to go thru hundreds of carwashes or going over 100mph on highway. It just not as sturdy as OEM. If you'll get it you'll know what I mean. Having "warned" you, I have/had these grills on two W211s, and would do it every time. The pictures that you see were taken 2 1/2 years ago. The grill looks exactly the same now. Do I need to say anything more? Actually yes. I'm in FL, if you're anywhere north with this year's winter (ice, salt, etc.) than all bets are off (actually I would use stock grill in winter, just like I would snow tires and wheels).

It has nothing to do with that. He also has OEM part - its a more expensive two part emblem: metal base with plastic emblem that needs to be attached to metal part. I just prefer a newer and cheaper (literally) part that MB uses now - its all plastic (it is just a lot easier to install).

I haven't had time until now, but wanted to post pix of the new grill. As discussed above, the quality is great and Gerry was excellent to work with. Installation was easy - off with the factory grill, on with this one.
You'll also note the White Star badge (from DFWDude) that replaced the standing star hood ornament. That compliments the grill perfectly and the overall look is wonderful.

It is amazing, what a difference it makes. I also like the hood without the standing star, too. I have received several compliments already and it's only been a week or so.
