SBC pump rattle
Hi everyone. I have a 2003 E320 and when I press the brakes I can hear the SBC pump rattle coming through my rear subwoofer. Anybody have any idea what the problem might be?
I have an appointment with Mercedes in couple of days to replace the sbc system under the 100,00 miles warranty. What should I tell them to check to fix the subwoofer noise?

^My SBC unit makes a loud "fart" sound sometimes as well, but its definitely not related to the subwoofer. I'm curious as to how you're getting your SBC unit replaced by just telling them its making sounds? Its my understanding that you need to have complete failure (AKA no brakes) in order for it to be replaced.

How would you say its not related to the subwoofer? The subwoofer playing sounds its not supposed to is the only reason its really an issue in the first place. The SBC unit sounds like its doing its job perfectly to me, every time I turn on and off my car I can hear it working. In my opinion, there is an issue with frequency or wiring on the subwoofer that is causing the problem.

Misundestanding or words, I suspect
Freshly, I think Dexion is saying that in his case, the subwoofer has nothing to do with it. I don't think he was saying one way or another if the subwoofer was a part of your car's problem.

Well they both sound like identical issues. Im not sure what is causing it, butI do know that the Subwoofer is the thing making the noise. Could there be an issue with the wiring or something? Ive owned the car for 5 years and it only started happening a few months ago. Dealer also says that all the part recalls on my car have already been done. Has anyone fixed the issue?
