What did you do for your W211 today?
This is my third set of rear tires (2 sets of Michelin OEM) and second set of front tires.
After some research, I went to the General G-Max (UTQC 480) from Discount Tire. About USD 1,000 after tax and installation.
A lot cheaper than the Michelins and these tires stick on the pavement - amazing. The ride is okay and minimal noise. Very pleased with my purchase.

Completed installing the final piece to being able to have Satelite Radio in my W-211.
That last piece and the final step was installing the antenna. Had already installed
a junk yard module 'cause a new one is no longer available or listed from MBZ!
Had already taken the car to the dealer to have the Command System recognize the recently
installed module, a necessary step if a person wants to add Satelite to their W-211.
All and all, not at all inexpensive, but I now have Satelite Radio in my E-320 CDI.
Wouldn't leave home without it!

You think he spent over 5 Grand simply as a preventative measure?

One of several reasons I steer clear of any Benz with those struts.
They may ride better but when they go out, it is simply much to expensive to fix 'em!
