Are these valve stem caps safe?

One of my valve stem caps is cracked so I wanted to buy a new set...

I remember reading to stay away from anything not ABS plastic because under hot/cold climate changes the metal caps can actually bond to the valve stem... These are the only ones I can find in the Parts.com catalog and they are apparently made out of solid brass. Are they good or should I try to buy an ABS plastic set?

I did find the following set on Amazon but I don;t like how they look. I like the clean look of the silver caps on parts.com and I don;t like the black background of the Amazon ones below though they are plastic...

I had those on my w210. They are pretty nice, never had an issue of them getting stuck, but I think they did throw off my wheel balance. They are weighty, and I didnt put them on until after having wheels balanced

I put some of those on my C32AMG when I had it. They were on the car for exactly one day before they were added to someone's collection.

That doesn't make any sense. You balance the tires without them and then attach them to the wheel to throw off the balance. Defeats the purpose of wheel balancing.

You should not be using metal valve stem caps if the valve stems are made of metal also, such as TPMS stems. Those should have plastic caps.

I got them as a gift after I had the tires mounted and balanced.
