Anyone who has mounted their V1 between sun visor & rear view mirror...can you still lower the sun visor all the way or does it hit the Valentine?

I have an Escort and it just clears and was considering getting a V1 but it looks wider.

i noticed i actually get better range in the middle area of the windshield right below the rear view mirror. i actually got poorer range above the mirror (next to the rain sensor) and i had trouble with my sun visor lol. i have a beltronics v955 (same antenna, M3, as escort 8500x50)

Anyone?? I've seen threads on how to run the wires so I know some of you have them mounted there.

I have my V1 mounted on the driver visor (and wired in so it's on/off with the car power). I hate suction cups and couldn't find any other alternative location.

I'm selling custom made cables for the V1. They will use 12V switched power from your Overhead Control Unit. If anyone is interested PM me.

No more cables running down the dash board or unprofessionally tucked behind.

Valentine One radar detector. But my cable can also be used for any other 2 wired device which runs on 12VDC.

I have mine placed in between the rear view mirror and the sun visor like you said and I have no problem lowering my sun visor when I need to. I have the front of the V1 line up flush to my rear view.
