Retrofit Auto Levelling function to Bi-Xenons

I Have had my Bi-Xenons on for over 2 years now and the illuminating power (as discussed earlier), is abysmal.

Since it was a retrofit from Halogens (?), I did not have the auto leveling feature.
My question is : what would be needed to retrofit auto-leveling into my car?

I think all you need to do is get into the system with SDS and change settings. The motor for auto leveling is in the headlight, not on the car.

It's not that simple. If you search the forum you'll see that there are wiring harnesses and under-seat sensors, etc. that non-xenon cars don't have and that you have to wire in and install. I don't think anyone has done it successfully.

He says that he already has bi-xenons, which is why I said that.

Auto leveling isn't a great feature, don't be worried about it. Now Curve Assist is great!

Yeah... I don't think auto-leveling makes the lights work any better, it just prevents them from blinding oncoming traffic. I think there's another problem.

Were they OEM Xenon or aftermarket? Putting Xenon bulbs in a projector made for halogen bulbs won't work. They'll be a pretty white color, but the light pattern will suck because the arc (xenon) and filament (halogen) emit light differently and the projectors are designed around one or the other.

Hi lads,
They are OEM Bi-Xenons.
The thing is, I have noticed when a xenon starts up, the motor lifts the lights and then sort of adjusts it straight ahead..in mine the lights are adjusted down and all the manual twiddling I have done has made them no better. My light output is abysmal..REALLY! So am exploring all possible options, short of changing the bi-xenons out.

Resurrecting an old thread.

I have been searching the archives for owners that have retrofitted the factory Bi-Xenon headlights. The wiring to the headlamps is there and the vehicle coding should be straightforward. The only missing input is the vehicle level. My 05 e320 vehicle doesn't have level sensors and I am wondering if there is a work-around?
