2003 e500 sedan

opens door if fob right in line of sight of driver door, or right upto eye on passenger side. clicks are audible. fob will not open trunk if behind car.

car starts fine.

Not that expensive, I own a shop and located a module for a good $$$. At this point it is not a high priority repair.

 

Just wondering did you ever find the trouble? I did the same thing and still key fob won't work . Would greatly appreciate any info . Thanks

 

Hello my fellow Benz riders I am having an issue with my GL450 2007 key fob it will not turn I changed the batteries as to no avail..... So is there a way to turn the ignition w/o the key fob I know it may sound dumb but I am finished with putting more and more money at this SUV. I love it but I am exhausted.. My first year I had tranny problems and engine problems lucky I had an extended warranty the came the airmatic system and now this I am finished done over.. Thanks a million
