Sunroof auto-close when it starts to rain?

Do you guys' sunroofs auto close when it starts to rain? Are all W211's sunroofs supposed to do that?

I'm asking because mine doesn't

IIRC that was a ROW feature that came about in later MYs. I tried to get it on my MY07 and didn't have any luck.

This place is a joke.
Never heard of it...Although some have auto close "tunnel feature" if high levels of exhaust or carbon monoxide are detected outside

No. There is no auto-close on rain feature.

If I remember correctly, tunnel feature was when you hold the recirculate (?) button and it would close the windows/sunroof/turn on a/c with recirculating air.

I don't think there was an auto-detect feature to it.

Not standard feature for MBUSA furthermore dealer SDS does not have access to activate it but if you locate someone with SDS “Developer” they should be able to activate it.

The 'holding the recirculate' button will not only close the sunroof, it will close all the windows. A WOW option to show friends. Don't know anything about he auto carbon sensor though.
If you have recirculate on too long, the car will momentarily let fresh air in and dumb old cabin (carbon dioxide filled) air out the trunk about every 30 minutes.

This is came as standard in Taiwan.
I didn't notice it until one day I am cleaning my windshield while the sunroof is opened. When water reach the sensor in windshield, the sunroof is closed automatically!
