I called RB Tech down in LA a few months back inquring about their lowering kit. They mentioned to me that they sell smoked rear lenses for the new E. I was not interested at the time, so did not inquire any further. Call them and find out...www.rbtechla.com

I like the look. Check out this link first, then the other.
First
Second
The paints cost about $4 each and 1 can of each should be enough for one car. I read that the transparent black paint works better when the can is warmed up in hot water. I think this shoud be quick and easy to do. That's why the guy decided to make a business of it.

V DuBb,
I realize most people in the thread only want to smoke the white parts of their lights. In your case, is what you've done legal where you are in Cali?
I know in SoCal I've heard (not directly) that they've started cracking down on entire brake lights being smoked like yours. Have you heard anything like this up where you are?

No idea. I think you're in the Bay Area? Maybe they don't care up there. All my stories are about people in SoCal and even in SoCal I think its LA cops that are just front license plate and tail light ****'s.
