Arnotts New Rear Air Suspension Springs - Pair

anyone installed these. I did not know that they made their own brand of the air bags for the e500. anyone? I am replacing my fronts this weekend from Arnotts, which I bought through Advance Auto, and looking to replace the rear shocks as well as the air bag system. the price is great to and a lifetime warranty,

anymore info folks? thanks

We've had great response on the new Arnott Rear E-Class Springs. They have been designed to eliminate the air reservoir so the installation is easier. Here is some additional information on them. https://www.arnottindustries.com/upl...ss%20Ready.pdf

Also, while there is no core deposit on these you can get $100 back ($50 each side) by sending your old cores back to Arnott. Visit www.ArnottBuysCores.com for more informaiton or to order the free shipping labels.

And remember, forum members can usecode MBSAVE12 to save up to 10%* off the retail prices on Arnott products for Mercedes-Benzvehicles. You can place your order online at the Arnott Web Store or bycalling Arnott Customer Support at 1-800-251-8993 X 804 Mon – Friday from 8:30AM to 7:00 PM ET. Orders placed by 2:30 ET are typically shipped out the sameday.

*Max savings $75 per order, not valid with any other orderor on shipping, taxes or core deposits (if any).

Two lessons here, arnottdoug and Arnott industries are the best.

Having ordered and installed the rear pair with the help of Doug, I cannot be happier. Good ride and excellent value/support.

I thought that you decide to do coil over conversion.

Actually I sent the coil over conversion back when I received them and decided to stick with a more stock setup. I figure since I have a lifetime warranty, heck why not.

That's my exactly line of thought. If all I have to do is pay for replacement labor if they ever go out, then once all of my struts are Arnott I'm set for the life of the car. They're built so hefty though I don't expect them to. Why lose functionality when you can save a comparable money with Arnott?

Both my fronts are Arnotts, they been great. Glad Arnott has a alternative for most air suspension vehicles.

Ive got a complete set on my 02 Allroad Audi , I did have an issue with a leak in one, but the warranty covered it. After a bit of back and forth. No complaints .

I did both my fronts and rears with Arnott's and after a year one of the fronts did start leaking. I called Arnott for warranty repair and they had one to me the next day no questions asked. Great warranty experience!!

good to know, so when you say you did the rears and one of the rears right? went bad, have not done my rears yet as their has not been any failure so far. what does the rear installation entails? do you have pics and writeup? did you just replace the struts in the rear or and springs? thanks

I guess Arnott's air suspension products for Mercedes are pretty much the same quality as I've experienced with Audi. While I appreciate Arnott for coming up with an aftermarket option, the whole "as good as OEM or better" is just blowing smoke.

On a side note, when you did replace the shocks in the front, did you feel the difference with how they perform under Comfort/Sport1/Sport2 firmness settings?

to be honest, The car felt drifty (hard to explain) when I had the oem, which failed a month after I bought the vehicle, when I replaced them with Arnott's, I would assume normal again as I can't really say because of the length of time I had owned the car. I will say, my local mercedes indy said Wow! when they notice they were not oem in which they had just quoted me $1500 per and their i was sitting with replacements that cost me much less.

My indy is not one to like aftermarket parts, no matter how good they are made, he is a retired mercedes mechanic that got his training in Germany and than opened up his own shop. so for now, they seem to be awesome.

Good to hear. Don't get me wrong, as long as Arnott offers a lifetime warranty I'll be buying their products as it'll only cost me my time on weekends to take them out.
