03 E500 New Wheels Help!

I'm planning on getting new wheels for my car. I'm currently looking at 19x9 in front and 19x10.5 on back with 235/35 fronts and 275/30 on rear. I still can't decide on which ET i should get..... my car is lowered and don't want the wheels to rub when i turn. help would be appreciated!

I run 19x9 et37 with 245s up front. 235 is starting to stretch it and doesn't suit my taste.

Agreed, 235 will NOT suit a 9 inch wheel, it will be way too stretched. A 255 or a 245 in the front would be much better. A 295 out back would probably rub unless you roll your fenders, however I know that's the case on a 20 inch wheel so not sure if it's the same with a 19 inch wheel. As far as wheel choices are concerned, it all depends on how much you want to spend and the look you're going for. I love Vossen wheels but I'd never put them on my car since the roads here are so bad...

i'm currently running 18x9 with 245/40 all around. i want my wheels to be somewhat flush with my fenders. my rear quarter panel is rolled. so far, my only problem with my front wheels are rubbing when doing a u turn. First picture is my front and second is my rear.

Really? What offset because I ran 245/40/18s previously and they did not rub on the front...

Very interested in this info. Was looking at some blacked out AMG wheels that came off a CLS55 with following specs: Front Wheel Size: 18" x 8.5" 25mm offset, Rear Wheel Size: 18" x 9.5" 28mm offset, 5x112 bolt pattern. Tire size: front tires 255/40/18 rear tires 285/35/18. Anyone know if these would work for me? What is ET?

+1, but we're a bit extreme.

20x10 + 35 225/35
20x11 + 35 245/35

If you're on 19's and running a 40 series tire, it's probably too tall. You probably want to stay in the 30's for ET if you dont want to stretch tires and rub.

TIRES TIRES TIRES!!!

I've been dealing with TIRES for the last month.

Currently running 285/35/19 10" rears and 235/35/19 8.5" fronts.
Also have 275/35/19 rears and 245/35/19 fronts
Also have 255/35/19 for the fronts.

I think the 235's are too skinny for the front. but they dont rub.
The 285's rub a little but I just need to adjust the lowest ride height with the star computer.

Had some nail and screw battles with the recent construction here in Vegas.
Also had a Falken FK452 245/35/19 that was officially defective..Falken is refunding me for 2 toyos I had to get because they dont make the Falkens anymore.

So DONT BUY FALKENS!! SEE PIC.

dang that's ****ty about that tire, i've rolled tires with -4.5 degree a camber for over a year that looks better than that

if you don't want to rub, and don't want to go smaller tires you're going to have to either roll/pull fenders, more camber, or raise your car

low aggressive fitments require all three: stretch, pull/roll, and camber

^ What he said. Unfortunately, you can't have it all. Somethings got to give if you want to be low and aggressive.

I've had -3.5 camber for a while now and haven't had to replace tires yet.

i run -4/-4.5 and i barely flipped my tires for the first time this month, been on them about a year. camber wears but not nearly as fast as toe, get some oem caster bolts to fix the right pull and just stay on top of everything and you will be fine.
