Brake pad replacement on facelift non-SBC E350
Are there any precautions I have to take to replace brake pads on a 2009 E350? Or is it only with sbc equipped models that you have to touch your right ear with your left hand and jump around 15 times while chanting a Santeria curse so the damn calipers don't take your fingers off if the sbc system wakes up?

Out Of Control!!
just make sure you reduce the amount of brake fluid in the reservoir before you spread the rear pads and do not forget to reattach the new pad ware sensor!!

Rear Pads replaced. Too me all of 30 minutes for both sides. Saved me $200 on labor cost. Total cost for oem pads and sensor $67. Knowing you didn't pay the stealer any labor, priceless.

My mechanic mentioned something about the calipers taking your fingers off!!!!!!!
I think he told me you have to disconnect something so that dose not happen. I don't remember exactly what it was, anyone knows?
I've always replaced my pads on all my cars, trucks and bike, but when he told me about that I don't know, my brakes are still good, but when then need to be replaced I would rather do it myself and jot have to pay crazy labor $$$$
