Good find and thank you for sharing. I already have two Arnott shocks on my car and they function just like the OEM ones.

Definately Arnott. Called them today to confirm my order, and was told tht cores go directly to Arnott.

Forgot to mention, that price is inclusive of shipping!

I don't have airmatic suspension, but I'm assuming these are meant for airmatic?

Yes. But they sell Bilsteins on that site as well. Arnott has coil
overs for the W211 as well on their site.

They list the Arnott airmatics at $578/ea, with a $200 core refund for the E500 4Matic, so that would be $378 net per side. not bad...

Good find Benz-O. Unfortunately for a '04 E320 not for 4Matics. Plus fronts only, no rears.

Just replaced my RF strut on our 2005 E500 4Matic. Shockwarehouse did not stock it and said Arnott was on backorder. I called Arnott directly and they confirmed they had no cores to rebuild but would happily rebuild mine. They even price matched shockwarehouse!

Great to hear that they can rebuild your own cores if needed they sound like a really well run and customer focused company almost wish my car had air suspension well at least in the rear for when I do my road trip... I wonder how much that would cost to retrofit out of a wagon.

I had to call over and over again for a week to get someone to pickup at shockwarehouse, but was finally able to get someone yesterday morning. Core refund was issued back to me, via Paypal, today. So, in the end, it took some hounding on my part to get the refund, but it worked out. There doesn't seem to be a notification protocol in place between Arnott and Shockwarehouse and it appears they leave it up to the consumer to shepherd that along. But, for $368.00 and doing the job myself, can't really complain too much.

Thanks for this. It would appear I may very well have to change out my right front airmatic shock. Another member had posted going through Advanced Auto, which was $97 less than Arnott's website. At shockwarehouse they are showing for $413, so not quite the savings you realized, but far better than what I was looking at this morning.

After I rule out any leaks as STAR says that there is a pressure line system leak as well as central reservoir for Airmatic leaks. I just can't seem to accept that it would be anything else than these POS airmatic shocks.
