The version I bought was CA legal. Whether or not the install is legal, I do not know as I live in MD.

Edit: I bought the 2.25" version. Looks like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-Magnaflo...-/170862884170 And looking at Magnaflows website shows it as federal, ny and ca legal.

Obviously you have no ability or interest in SEARCHING. Creating another thread about the same subject is a big no no. I said I bought something similar to that, as in it looked the same. Look on Magnaflows website and READ - they are CA AND Federal legal as well as NY.

Well it doesn't hurt to ask if any has there stock ones they might have taken out for a custom exhaust now does it? I wasn't trying to make anything rude by saying fudge,Thanks for "some" of your help.

Correct, it's wouldn't have hurt to ask, but you did not. It has nothing to do with you saying fudge and everything to do with the arrogance of your posting. And then not following rules by posting another thread about the same issue.

I did not use those from Ebay, just to be clear. I went to Magnaflow and Summit Racing, found the part number for the 2.5" stainless versions (which a part number is in another thread) and searched Ebay for that part number. They make different sizes and even shapes.

So the part I ordered is 2.5" IIRC.
