Will e500 bumper fit on e350 base model?
Im trying to find a little more aggressive front bumper without having to go thru the troubles and cost of doing the e63 front end conversion.
i really want something with a lip or more aggressive than the stock front end.
anybody have any idea if the e500 bumper will fit? or if theres any other options? The reason i am asking about the e500 front bumper is because i see that they make lips or front spoilers for that one.

If they are both pre-facelift then the swap is simpler. If one is pre and one is post then you will need to get a front grille as well. Typically the E500 will be an early model W211 while the E350 will be a later one.

nice looking ride you got there. i reckon the engine displacement is not a factor if youre just doin a bumper swap. it all depends if your car is an Elegance, Avantgarde or has the Sports package. now if youre doin a facelift, then thats a different story, you will need all dewana421 mentioned above.

So as long as i use the pre face lift bumper then im good with my fogs correct?
im thinking of just keeping the preface lift look and add a lip all around.

no worries. here in Aus, your car is an Elegance model, the Avantgarde would have a slightly different front bar, side skirt and rear bar, and the sport package is totally different as well. im pretty sure that you cant find a front spoiler for any of these models that will fit like a glove. but if you want to go for an E55 front bar then theres is a lip available for it, still a straight swap with your current bumper (i think). but if you want to go for the E63 facelifted look, you'll need a few more items. try to search google, W211 Elegance, W211 Avantgarde, sport package, E55 and E63. you'll see the difference.

I believe that prior to 2007, the V6 engines were 3.2; therefore they were E320s. I have seen some E350 that did not have the facelifts yet, but those were probably built right on the cusp of the update.

^ thats right. now the signature of the OP says 2006 E350 and the photo is definitely a pre facelift, engine designation is not a factor in this case (at least from my neck of the woods) ANY E55 front bar will work as a straight swap.
