2005-2006 E320 CDI tune questions
Hi guys, I am new to the forum because I thought that this would be an acceptable place to get some advice from people. I have wanted a diesel luxury sedan for many years now and I came across the 2005-2006 E320 CDI. I did some research on it and I read that it is a reliable choice and the only thing that kind of scared me was the SBC failure, but then I found out that you can simply deactivate it and not have to worry about it.
So, knowing that this is the car for me (coming from a 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and I am a big guy 270lbs), I know that I would like to get some sort of tune for it. I know that this is not a sports car and I am not looking for any crazy power increases, but I would like some sort of tune that would potentially give me some extra torque and some ponies, along with slightly improved fuel economy (i can go without this as well since it is a diesel engine to begin with and is efficient enough already).
I noticed that there are dozens of tuning companies out there that send you a plug and play module and I read only positive reviews from multiple people regarding different tunes. Having said this, what are the top 3 choices I should consider for a 2005-2006 E320 CDI that will not break my wallet too much?
Any advice regarding a tune for this specific model would be greatly appreciated. Please don't bash me, as I am simply looking for some friendly advice. I hope this post made sense, as my english is not perfect. Cheers!

I drove an 06 E320 CDI for 7 years. Never tuned it however. Thought about getting a Kleeman, but never did. That engine / 5speed transmission is a great combo and the turbo will throw you back in the seat when it kicks in (nothing like the refined power of my turbo E550). I'd drive it for a few weeks to decide if you need the extra power.

$700 so not bad at all
Disabling the SBC brakes? How do you plan to stop?

Maybe the Fred Flintstone method?
I think he really meant that he would reset the counter to get rid of the warning message, but that still doesn't stop the SBC pump from eventually failing, you just won't get a warning message in advance that's all.

Yeah the counter reset lol I don't understand why you would do that.... Guess if I see any older w211's in my rear view mirror I should just let them pass from now on.
