How Do You Adjust Rear KW Coilovers On A W211 E500?

I cannot find anything on this? I just bought a W211 E500 and need to adjust the rear ride height. I took off the rear wheel and there is a set of KW coilovers installed. There seems to be no clearance for a spanner wrench to turn in there and I also do not have one. Besides using a screwdriver, how do you adjust these things? Is there a tutorial anywhere? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with how to adjust them but the rear of my E500 has little to no room for a spanner wrench. My question is how do you get in there to adjust them? I can get in there with a screwdriver and move it but I do not want to mess it up. If you go to page 9 of this document you will see what I am dealing with http://www.kwsuspensions.com/extras/...ah18025005.pdf ..

Ok, I managed to take pictures of what I am trying to adjust.. If these are adjustable coilovers then why are they so hard to get to? The fronts are easy but I just want to maximize my ride height in the rear. I even tried to drop the spring and cannot figure out how to do that either. I removed all the bolts that I could and it is still not moving. Is there a tool that I could buy to get up in there? I do not think a regular spanner wrench will work? Again, KW knows nothing about this install.. Any help is appreciated.

Best thing I can suggest is removing the spring like you would for replacement and move the top nut down in range of use with spanner.

I have unbolted everything down there and it will not budge. How do you get the spring off? I did not put it in. Is there something that I am missing?

You need to compress the spring with a spring compressor. Those are very dangerous. If you didn't know to do that, I'd say this is probably outside where I would suggest you DIY it.

I cannot get in there with a spring compressor.. There is no strut in the center. There has to be an easier way to do this?

Ok, the rears are done but now the front is giving me major issues. I have to raise it an inch and the plastic adjustment is just about stripped even with the spanner wrench. It is not smooth in turning. It seems like the spring is getting caught up and causing me major grief.. Is there something I am doing wrong?
