Not in America, but if you are in Europe, you will find sticks.

Help me understand, you don't like automatics but you purchased one and now want to convert it to stick???? Why you buy then? I think Europe is the only place you would be able to get a stick in our cars. And still then, that's speculation because I havent heard of and merc w211's in a stick.... Maybe someone else can chime in....

W211 320CDI -04, W210 270CDI -01
You won't get 350 engine in manual transmission even in Europe... 280/280CDI engines are largest one, all 200/220 engines are possible choice with manual. But you can use 'manual' model in all automatic transmissions, some models have steering wheel 'flap selectors' too. In addition True AMG models have faster gear box than standard models.

Now "faster gear box" that sounds interesting?
Rereading, don't think 4M ever had manual and I did not see diesel with 4M neither.

You are right; no 4motion models with manual, but 280CDI/320CDI are available at 4motion in Europe.

Search AMG SpeedShift MCT

Also you can buy 'faster' solenoids in normal transmission, difference is not very big but...

Yeah I want to do a build that is different then anything else but if there no transmissions out there that will work. What are the best mercedes engines that have stick that will fit in the car?

The last production stick shift Mercedes in America should be a ~2009 c300. That's the closest thing you're going to be able to get if you want stick shift with Mercedes. You could always drop down $20,000 or so and maybe grab someone to try to attempt the swap. Then you'll need to double down to get someone to recode the entire car for you. Might as well get that c300 and slap a turbo on it.

if a 2009 w204 M272 can have a 6spd then a 2009 or older w211 with a M272 should have one as well. WEAK SAUCE. I guess if you want a manual trans MB could give 2 fuchccs.... literally....

did the m112 in the w203 have manuals as well???? and the slks?????

oh and a c300 is a m272, so is a c350 and e350. they are all the same..... it's still a v6 at the end of the day whichever way you look at it. They should let customer have the option IMO. It would be sweet if my 550 had a freaking 6spd.....

actually on the v8 m273 the firewall might be a clearance issue. 272 though i dont see why a 6spd couldn't directly bolt up...

Quite a bit of w203s 230s as well as the older slk 280/350s up to ~'07ish were 6 speeds if you were still wondering. Not sure if it's worth the effort to convert a w211 but a 6spd 550 would sure be fun..
