Front License Plate Euro Bumper Mount
Hello all, Im looking for a standard Euro front mount for my 211. It is custom molded to the front bumper, I think 20 inches wide. The one supplied by MB USA does not work very well, as it is the Standard North American shape, with my EU german plate. I asked my MB dealer this morning, he cannot order them.
I know they exist, as I seen pictures. Anyone know where to get them?

John,
You have an interesting problem. Even if you do get the front mount, what about the rear plate? The european plates don't fit the opening in the US/Canadian trunklid.

I was able to find one for my W210. I bought it from a dealership here in the US. They had the part in some warehouse. However, I had to find the correct part number first.
I suggest you try and find someone in Europe that has that part and then get the part number from them.
Here's a pic of the license plate holder for my W210:

JimPurdy, thanks for the reply. As Florida state law, I need a valid state tag for the rear, but Florida does not require a front tag. Hence my problem. I have a authentic German Euro tag that I want to use on the front.
My MB delar cannot order, as this part is generally not needed in the US

HI,
I had to order a US-plate holder for my (temporaryly) imported W211. My local dealer misunderstood my wish and ordered a German holder first, then the correct one. So there must be a way to order this part in the US - took almost 2 weeks but he did it.
I think the part number (for a silver one) is A 211 885 08 81 but I have no idea how to order different colors - they are color coded!
Hope this helps
Michael
