Hi Fastbuck,
My vehicle was a January one build and it also has the 2003/2.3 DVD.

I suppose the next obvious question is:

Do we have to pay for it???

They told me that I would have to pay 800 EUR, and I laughed so loud that they promised to give it to me free-of-charge.

That's it then. HA HA HA (Very Loudly)

It would appear cheeky to sell a car, then a matter of a few weeks later they fetch out an upgrade and expect you to pay for it. The folks North of the Border (Scotland) are renowned for their genoristy and the throwing of money about with reckless abandon. No doubt 'fastbuck' 'might' have something to say if they ask him to 'pay up'

Being a canny Scot, I'd expect a personal tour guide for that. Maybe expect her to stay the night too! (j/k)

Of course, it's MB after all.

And clearly, borrowing a disk from a friendly dealer and copying it would be complete copyright infingement.

Unfortunately we have lost our excellent Mercedes-Benz Dealership and the 'new' franchise is more of a supermarket where you are quite simply a number. All the employee's at the new dealership are absolutely run ragged and have no time to stop and be 'friendly' to anyone that is not actually in the process of buying something.

I am certainly going to give it a try, but the 'Rabbi' would never forgive me for buying a new DVD after only six weeks of ownership.

Good luck with your new upgrade,

Regards,
John
