Smile New W211 owner, First Benz

For the past few months I had been shopping for a newer car to replace my old Chrysler and after looking at numerous different models settled on a facelift W211. I must have looked at dozens of these on Autotrader and I had my local MB dealer do a search for me as well, and after a solid month of looking I found a great example that checked all the right boxes. I picked up my new to me 2008 E350 4Matic Sport a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it. I just love the ride, handling, power, comfort, and the timeless design. The interior color though is the nicest I think I've seen in a W211, the beige seats brighten it up but the black dash, door panels, and carpet don't look dirty all the time.

I'm pretty sure this one is fully loaded with the exception of the quad zone climate control and ventilated seats. I don't think I'm missing any other options? I've got the pano roof, xenons, keyless go, rear shade, wood steering wheel, bluetooth, nav.

The car has 84k miles/136,000KM and was a one owner and maintained on schedule.

That's pretty well fully loaded. You've got the real leather too. You should also have the ipod connector in the glove box. Do you have the power trunk closer, voice control, parktronic and the folding rear seats? Those were the other major options. The quad zone climate control and ventilated seats were more for the E550 and E63. Side blinds were also an option, but it's very rare, haven't seen too many that had them.

I like the color combination.
The common black on black not only cook you in the summer, but tend to look dirty all the time.
For America MB always import pretty loaded cars, but somehow parktronics and webasto are pretty rare if not non-existent for USA.
Enjoy new drive

Thanks guys. The color combination is what really sold me on the car, in addition to a very good history. I spent quite a bit of time browsing this forum and watching some of Kent Bergsma's videos on Youtube to make sure I was getting the best car I could find.

I have all of the above except for the voice control and side window blinds. I'm in Canada, and even from looking through the manual it seems like we get cars with more equipment than the US, for example rear heated seats are standard in Canada and from what the manual says they're Canada only.

The 2 tone interior looks really sharp!

Do you have TPMS as well?
If so, being in Canada, does your dash show the pressure of each tire?

I don't believe so, at least I've never been able to find it. From doing some reading, because I have regular black rubber tire valves I don't have the individual sensors in the wheels, but rather "run-flat monitoring" that works using the ABS system. The theory is that as pressure is lost, the diameter of the tire shrinks and it rotates faster than the others.

I guess I'll find out for sure once I put my snows on, I don't think they have sensors in them, the seller didn't mention anything about it.

My 2008 Bluetec does have TPMS.
The valves are thicker at the base and have nut outside.
As far as I could check - it is very basic system, where driver has no way to monitor actuall pressure.
It will display alarm only when the tire is about flat and with pretty long delay as I experienced.
One day I pick up a nail and overnight the pressure drop to about 6 psi.
The alarm sound after about a minute when I already backed up from the garage on the street and made almost 1/2 mile.
Would the tire be completely flat, it would be ruined by then.

It has the dual pipes with oval tips. I'd love to replace with with E55 style tips but I'm pretty sure I'd have to cut the bumper to get them to fit properly.
