lmao. But that is where my aux cord input was, where u made the hole lol
well, i dont know much about it but here is a link, a forum i found on here the guy had same issue as yours. I kinda don't understand if his situation was resolved and how lol...but take a look here

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...put-cable.html

BUTTTT...i also found out that SOME cars have aux cord input fitted on the left side of the glove box, check if its there. I attached a pic from google. If it's not that, then i think you might have to do some extra work with wires n stuff lol

but where u popped that hole, that is the spot for most w211s aux input. its the same shape, size, design of it. u might want to, if u can, remove that cover thing and look what's behind it. the wires could be inside and you might need just the head to plug in.

I'm no expert on anything here lol

there is no AUX showing on right side of screen when you press the AUDIO button? where it displays Radio, CDC, and CD?

If no, i saw a video on youtube on how to install AUX cord. It requires a lot of work but it's doable by yourself if you have the wires and stuff. I would say if you want to do it by yourself, it is about 1-3hrs work. Based on how well you know the parts and stuff to take apart and reassemble.

Easy fix is to buy the adapter thing that goes into the spot where you plug in the car charger, the FM Radio thing where you play it on a specific radio station, but my experience, the quality was kind of dull. The volume was kinda low compared to if you get AUX installed. But a good quality ones for the Radio tuners are somewhat around $50+, it will be better to get AUX installed under $100 from a tech.

Nope no aux. And yup right now im using FM modulator which sounds ok when its USB/Memory card (Factory AUX being 10/10 its 7.5/10) and aux from the modulator is 4/10.. no matter what modulator it all sounds the same to me... i used an expensive one first...somehow it got melted down due 2 the heat and now i got the cheapest one available and its the same quality..
Right now im not in urgent need of it but its good to have when friends are around as they ask 4 aux but all i have is the same set of songs everytime from the usb,mc and 6cds.. i live in dubai where fm stations are from 87.9 - 107.8 and the car is japan spec meaning 70-90.. so im locked out of that too (89.1 is a good channel tho).. it costs like 600+$ to change... i dont think thats worth some AUX music and fm stations
I will change it at some point if i get a bonus salary or something

i say contact somebody and get the wires you need, should be like $20-50? and DIY. It is a bit complicated when u watch the video taking all the parts apart n stuff but that would be the cheapest option. Or have a tech install it. Idk about the pricing there but for a tech to install AUX cord is like less than $100.

Contact diff shops for their diff prices. Or ask them if they can take a look and give you the price range, instead of changing the whole thing like you said. Aux will be the cheapest out of all...

as i said aux is not something that i want for now.. I prefer FM stations over AUX because songs are randomly selected and shuffled.. So im not doing anything for now.. Here things are expensive.. i will stick to the modulator and cds currently im rockin 9 cds, mc with over 800songs and 89.1fm
