2006 E320 CDI (DIESEL) NEED IGNITION WIRING DIAGRAM and ECU pinoiut description
Hello All,
I have a 2006 E320 CDI.
I am looking for the ignition system diagram as well as the ECU poinout description. I had another thread with no responses so it is probably easier to find an electrical diagram of the car.
My car has a diesel engine so the electrical diagram should have a preglow control module and glow plugs (no spark plugs).
I believe power is not getting to the ECU, so I would like to check the Harness connector that plugs into the ECU and see if there is power and if not, to trace it all the way to the source (preglow indicator light does not illuminate either). The ECU fuse is good. Scanner powers on but can communicate with ECU.

Either get the knock off WIS on DVD on eBay for about $10 or pay $60 for 24 hour access to MB's StarTek.

Hello , was also wondering if you had Come up with a solution .
I have a 2005 e320 cdi. New batteries ( aux + main ) alternator seems strong . This problem use to be much less intermittent but now almost all the time . No glow plug light comes on and car doesn’t try to start , can’t talk to ecu with scan tool .
Here is the weird part , jump starting the car with another car or a jumper pack that a tow truck driver would have would not allow me to start but I have a small lithium battery jump pack and this will allow me to start the car every time . When I first started seeing this problem I had searched through many forums and I had found another member that had bought the same pack and I gave it a try and it worked . I’m not sure what the difference between this jump pack and a car is but it’s the only thing that works . Any suggestions on where to look ?

Did you figure out the problem? I found that when ECU gets hot - won`t crank won`t start, but if you take it out and cool it down - works. I suspect some cracked soldering in ECU. So i was able to remove first cover, but not the bigger one. tried soldering bigger pins and ROM chip, but no luck. Did you solve the problem, if so - how?

There are hundreds of downloads available. One time i downloaded ADOBE and i ended up with the RANSOM WARE VIRUS!!!! Lost everything on my computer to the russian mafia. Not too fussy about just going out to the bar and picking up anyone and bringing it home without some kind of help from someone who knows exactly what it is.
